RideScout Options RideScoutDirectionsHello, Ride Scout.

This little app takes all your transit information across the public and private spectrum and puts it all in one place to help you make an educated transportation decision.

Ride Scout will pull together your options, including biking, walking, the bus, or newer ride share options like Uber, and shows you not only how long it will take to get to your destination, but how much it will cost you, and the calories you could be burning.

In areas like Washington DC, it will even show you the number of bikes available on the bike share system.

Other cool features? It will let you know when it’s time to walk to the bus. ¬†Amazing.

While Ride Scout is available for the Redmond area, it is not optimized for all our transit options yet. (We used it to see our options between Redmond City Hall and Microsoft Campus).

Ride Scout is just getting started, but it is a welcome app to join the likes of One Bus Away and Metro Trip Planner.
